MY FAVORITE AUTHORS
Debut Authors Who are Going to be Stars
Western historicals are making a big comeback, and my money's on Tracy Garrett to make a splash with her debut book, Touch of Texas. Great writing, wonderful characters, and check out that cover!
I'm not usually an erotica reader. But I picked up Jo Carlisle's debut book for Ellora's Cave, Raina's Fantasy, and I was blown away by how wonderful a story it was. If you have any preconceived notions about erotica, forget all about them and dive right into this one. Jo also writes romantic suspense as Jo Davis, with her first book in a firefighter trilogy coming out in October of next year.
Authors You May Not Know But Really Should
Barbara Dunlop writes wonderful books for Silhouette Desire. She's one of the few authors in this line who writes funny, sexy banter really well. Check her out!
Tanya Michaels has written some wonderful stories for several Harlequin lines, and she continues to write for Harlequin American. But the big news is her trade women's fiction novel, Necessary Arrangements, written under the name Tanya Michna. She writes heartfelt, genuine emotion unlike anyone else.
If you love light, funny historicals, check out Sandy Blair's books. She writes with a kind of exuberance you don't find very often, and her heroes are to die for.
Bestselling Authors I Love, and You Probably Do, Too
Lorraine Heath, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Jennifer Crusie, Marian Keyes, Susan Andersen, Janet Evanovich.
